Admiral Poindexter's Terror Casino

As if the Total Information Awareness fiasco were not bad enough, the despicable quintuple felon John Poindexter, only unconvicted by the barest of technicalities, has now suggested a market in terrorism. Yes, that is correct. Apparently undeterred by how badly the Strangelovian weirdness of this sociopathic criminal comes across in public, the Bush Administration still gives Poindexter free rein to shock Americans silly with a new outburst of crazy stupidity.

Once again, the Senate has to step in to put a leash on this nutcase, specifically Senators Ron Wyden and Byron Dorgan, who state the opinion of any sane person who looks at this bizarre scheme.

The example that you provide in your report would let participants gamble on the question, 'Will terrorists attack Israel with bioweapons in the next year?' Surely, such a threat should be met with intelligence gathering of the highest quality – not by putting the question to individuals betting on an Internet website,” the Senators wrote to Poindexter. “Spending taxpayer dollars to create terrorism betting parlors is as wasteful as it is repugnant. The American people want the Federal government to use its resources enhancing our security, not gambling on it.”

Indeed. It should be noted that this plan contains eerie echoes of the "Assassination Politics" of Jim Bell, currently serving a lengthy federal prison term. Admiral Poindexter, who narrowly dodged the hoosegow himself, though, is actually attempting to implement this craziness. How many sick, psychotic fantasies of Poindexter's does this country have to fund before sending him back home to live out the rest of his senility without endangering the public as DARPA head, a position for which he is clearly and grossly unsuited by reason of mental incapacity? I guess Poindexter's job is payback for the crimes he committed for Father Bush in the Iran-Contra terror operations.

Scientology Statistics

Scientology's Stats Are Down documents with statistics from Scientology's own publications that the cult's production of Clears and OTs (or Operating Thetans) has been on a steady decline for years.

Source #65, a Scientology publication, mentions, among other people, Matt Gusts. Other people mentioned include Mudd Roquebrun and Lillebill Lundberg. Not mentioned in this issue is Jeordie Shekeryk, although this individual is mentioned in Source #63 right below Alexis Wilhite. Here is the list of all Source magazines. Ida J. Camburn's Promise

Many Scientology-watchers have been waiting a long time for Ida J. Camburn to write her life story, entitled Ida Camburn's Promise - to Congressman Leo J. Ryan, My Story. This isn't quite finished, but it's nice to see any of it at all. Congressman Leo J. Ryan is most famous for having been murdered at Jonestown, although he was not friendly toward other cults, either.

Thanks to Arnie Lerma for the assistance with this document. Ida Camburn has been dealing with Scientology for longer than many critics have been alive. She has been a friend to Keith Henson as well as many other critics of Scientology. I met her at the December 2000 picket of Scientology in Clearwater, of which there are pictures here.

She has been a critic of Scientology and other cults since her son became a member and "disconnected" from her in true Scientology style.

Now, though, she can tell her own story.

Psychotic "President" Urges Attacks on US Troops

As if Bush's idiocy in dragging the US into his war for profit weren't enough, now the miserable little psychopath is encouraging further attacks on US troops.

I suppose this is "supporting the troops." This pathetic moron is unfit for any office and certainly the Presidency. Despite this, his approval rating exceeds that of Bush, Reagan and Clinton, despite the fact that he is the clear inferior of every one of them, markedly so in the case of Clinton and even Reagan. From this it can be concluded that pollsters are liars or Americans are idiots.
